Some unidentified men shot at two brothers when they were returning home from work here, killing one on the spot, police said on Monday.
The incident took place on late Sunday night, they said.
While Vijay Ram, 46, died on the spot, his brother Pradyuman was injured and taken to a hospital here, the police said.
No arrest has been made so far, they said, adding a probe is on.
