A case has been registered against unidentified persons for allegedly running away with an ATM machine containing Rs 4.46 lakh at Jandiala area here.
Unidentified persons yesterday tried to loot an ATM machine of Punjab National Bank at Jandiala area here, police said, adding that the gang took away the entire machine when as they were unable to take out the cash.
According to the CCTV footage, the crime happened after midnight and three masked persons, including a woman were involved in the crime, they said.

There may be involvement of more people but the details can be clear only after the investigation is over, police said.
We have registered a case in the matter and the probe is on, they added.
