Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami today reviewed security situation and cross-border infiltration in Jammu Kashmir.
Goswami, who chaired a high-level security meeting of top officers of the Army, police, para-military and various intelligence agencies, reviewed cross-border infiltration, militancy and counter-infiltration and anti-terrorists measures taken.
He was briefed on security setup being strengthened along the border to deal with infiltration taking advantage of foggy weather conditions.
Goswami called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan soon after his arrival here and discussed issues relating to internal security management and measures to be undertaken for maintaining sustained peace and harmony in the state.
