Union Min suggests schemes to Ajmer dargah admin for pilgrims

Union Minister for Minority Affairs K Rahman Khan today asked the Ajmer dargah administration to make pilgrim-friendly schemes.

The Minister gave several suggestions to improve facilities for 'zaireen'(pilgrims) after being shown a presentation about the development plan of the dargah, at circuit house in Ajmer, according to an official release here.

The Minister was informed that various works worth crores of rupees to improve facilities and security will be done in future for pilgrims visiting the shrine of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.

Khan said priority should be given to works which are directly related with convenience of people visiting the shrine.
 

A road from Kayad to Dargah will be broadened and arrangements for proper drainage, traffic and other facilities will also be made according to the development plan, the release added.
