Union MSME Minister Giriraj Singh today assured all help to the knitwear sector at nearby Tirupur to address various issues being faced by them like restoration of duty drawback rate.
The minister gave the assurance during a meeting Tirupur Exporters Association President, Raja M Shanmugham had with Singh at New Delhi today
The TEA president said in a statement that the industry also sought rebate on state levies and enhancement of Interest Equalization incentive from three per cent to five per cent, including GST related issues.
The National Small Industries Corporation Chairman, Ravindranath, who was also present at the meeting, mentioned about the NSIC support for imparting skill training to the workers, Shanmugham said.
