Union minister Vijay Goel today launched his 'Delhi Bachao' campaign along with activists of NGOs and resident welfare association members, protesting the "pathetic" condition of the city under the alleged "misgovernance" of the AAP government.

The campaigners marched from Goel's residence on Ashoka Raod to Jantar Mantar, carrying a vacant chair symbolising Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's absence from Delhi due to his poll-related engagements in Punjab and Goa.

"When Kejriwal lost from Varanasi, he promised never to leave Delhi and would work for the capital's development, but now it's shocking to see not a single minister of the AAP government is in Delhi," Goel said.

AAP government's "misgovernance" and "disappearance" of Kejriwal and his ministers from Delhi has forced people to face miseries, he said alleging "deplorable" condition of schools, non-distribution of ration cards, "high level" of pollution, no addition of new buses, and poor sanitation in the city.

Kejriwal is busy "touring" Punjab and Goa for "personal gains" which has led to "corruption and malpractices within his government", Goel said adding that 'Delhi Bachao' campaign will continue to "expose" AAP government through marches and rallies in coming days.
