Union Health Minister J P Nadda Monday alleged that TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu and the Congress only want power for themselves and and not for the people of Telangana.
Nadda, BJP's in-charge for the December 7 assembly polls in Telangana, claimed that it was only the BJP which provides corruption-free governance and works for the people.
According to Nadda, the mood is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming (to power) with "massive victory" in the 2019 (Lok Sabha) elections.
He alleged that scared of this, KCR (as Rao is popularly known as) advanced the elections by nine months (to avoid facing Modi factor) to save himself.
Nadda said under Modis leadership, the country is moving forward.
Addressing a party meetingafter inaugurating the party's assembly constituency election office at Musheerabad here, he slammed KCR for not implementing the Centre's 'Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna' (PMJAY-Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme in Telangana.

"We (Central Government) want to implement 'Ayushman Bharat in Telangana, but KCR did not accept this scheme which benefits lakhs of poor people in the state from high medical treatment costs only because he feared Modi's popularity will further increase," he said.
He further alleged that the amount given under the National Health Mission and towards other health schemes was not being spent and diverted.
"See the records and verify through RTI. Friends this is nothing but cheating the people of Telangana and such people don't have any right to be in power and these hurdles need to be removed and this matter has to be settled in the election to be held on December 7," he said.
Nadda slammed Chandrababu Naidu over the coming together of the Telugu Desam Party and the Congress terming it as "unholy alliance" where two foes turned friends.
"(TDP founder), the late NT Rama Rao fought for Telugu pride and formed TDP (as an alternative to the Congress) and today his son-in-law (Naidu) for the sake of power is hugging those who had disrespected Telugu pride," Nadda said, terming it as "politics of opportunism for power.
"They want power for themselves and for their corruption and not for the people of Telangana," he said, claiming it is only BJP which works for the people of Telangana.
He said though BJP was not in government in Telangana, the Centre had put every scheme as top priority in Telangana and also in Andhra Pradesh "because Modis dream is to take everyone together.
