The meeting of the unions was convened by Puducherry Textile Mills Labour Union.

Union secretary V S Abishegam said in a release that the meeting wanted confiscation of properties of these officials of the three mills- Sri Bharathi Mills, Swadeshi Mill and the Anglo French textile mills.
