Defending champions United Sports Club will look to enter their third final when they face local rivals Mohammedan Sporting in the 118th IFA Shield semi-final here tomorrow.

In the other semi-final, former champions East Bengal will be keen to make amend for their early exit from the Federation Cup when they lock horns with Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club of Bangladesh.

Return of Ranty Martins will bolster United SC attack as the purple brigade will also be relying on their captain Deepak Mondal, Bello Rasaq and Eric Brown.

United SC will miss the services of Lalkamal Bhowmick, as their midfielder is out for two weeks after suffering an injury in the last match.

Tapan Maity might come in the middle half of the turf, while Ranty will be pairing up with Eric upfront as Baldeep Singh will make way for the Nigerian.

"Having come this far to the hill, we will certainly try to reach the summit. I hope this turns out to be a good contest," USC coach Anjan Nath said.
