With their forward line-up of Ranti Martins and new signing Eric Brown in sublime form, United SC will look to maintain their winning run when they face Sporting Clube de Goa in the round two I-League fixture here tomorrow.
Severe cash crunch after their sponsors disappeared in a financial scam meant that United SC could only start the pre-season late in August.
But I-League's top scorer of the last three seasons Martins and Liberian recruit Brown found the rhythm straightway as their second-half goals gave them a 2-0 winning start against qualifiers Rangdajied United of Shillong.

Coach Eelco Schattorie has been vocal about prioritising the I-League over any other competition so just one point in four local league matches won't really bother his players.
"None of the Kolkata clubs have won the I-League for many years now so I want to win the I-League with United SC," the Dutchman said.
Schattorie may miss his versatile midfielder Tapan Maity due to injury.
The Goan outfit managed a 1-1 draw against Mumbai FC in Pune in the first round as their Spanish coach Oscar Bruzon would look to get his first win under his belt.
Bruzon would be hoping that his two Spanish signings Arturo Navarro Garcia and Gonzalo Hinojal Neila too get into their acts.
India international Dawson Fernandes will be looking to have a bigger impact and Bruzon also has high expectations from former Churchill Brothers and Pune FC striker Boima Karpeh.
