Unity Infra shares close 11% higher on bourses

Unity Infraprojects scrips surged 11 per cent today as the company issued shares worth Rs 82.63 crore to lenders and promoters under its corporate debt restructuring (CDR) scheme.

Unity Infra's scrip advanced by 9.88 per cent to settle at Rs 15.02 on the BSE. In intra-day session, it jumped 19.97 per cent to Rs 16.40.

At the NSE, shares of the company rallied 11 per cent to end at Rs 15.10.

The decision was taken by the company's Board of Directors in a meeting yesterday.

"The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on July 6, 2015, inter alia, has ...Considered, issue and allotted 2,64,20,784 equity shares of Rs 2 each at a price of Rs 27.52 per share to promoters/promoters group companies pursuant to CDR Scheme," the company had said in a BSE filing.
 

The board also gave nod to allotment of 36,08,738 equity shares of Rs 2 each at a price of Rs 27.52 per share to CDR Lenders pursuant to CDR scheme, it added.
