A self-styled 'captain' of the outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) was arrested on the eastern side of Top Khongnangkhong bridge in Manipur's Imphal district, a police statement said today.
The militant, arrested on Tuesday, was identified as Mangsatabam Gojendro alias Telheiba (45) from Luwangsangbam Makha Leikai of the same district, it added.
He was arrested by a joint team of Imphal East District Police Commando and 21 Para (Special Force) during checking, the statement said.
