Unmukt Chand plays flash cricket with Dhoni's WC-winning bat

Delhi Daredevils batsman Unmukt Chand today played flash cricket with India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's bat with which he hit the winning runs during the 2011 World Cup final against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chand played some classic shots with Dhoni's bat during flash cricket, a joint initiative of Dilli Aaj Tak and Delhi Daredevils, orgainsed at Sagar Apartment in Tilak Marg here with the residents of the locality.

The bat used by Dhoni in 2011 World Cup final is the most expensive cricket bat. It was sold at a auction for Rs 87 lakhs to R K Global Shares & Securities Ltd (India), at the M S Dhoni's 'East Meets West' Charity Dinner, in London on July 18, 2011.
 

Flash cricket, which is all about cricket anytime, anywhere and in any scenario has become the talk of the town.

In a week's time flash cricket is gaining popularity as it moves from one locality to another market place to malls and to office complexes.

"It's a great feeling to play with Dhoni's bat. He played a memorable innings with this bat," Chand said in a statement.
