In the girls' second round, unseeded Shrivalli trounced third seed Shivani Ingle of Maharashtra 6-1 6-0, while Maharashtra's Pareen Shivekar toppled sixth seed Prinke Singh of Jammu and Kashmir 1-6 6-4 6-1 in a two-hour tussle.
In the boys pre-quarterfinals, qualifier Reddy continued his impressive run by ousting 13th seed Arnav Bhardwaj of Haryana 7-5 6-3 to move into the last eight.
