UP: 4 killed in separate incidents in Saharanpur

Four persons, including a minor, were killed in three separate incidents of road mishap and electrocution in this district, police said today.

55-year-old Sahiram was killed last night when a tractor-trolley turned turtle in Nanauta police station area on Jalalabad-Gangoh road here, ASP Sharma said.

Sahiram, who was driving the tractor, lost control over the vehicle which then turned turtle, he said.

In another road mishap, 16-year-old Wajid was killed last night when a truck rammed into the motorcycle he was riding on in Ambehta town, the ASP said.

He was rushed to hospital but he died on the way while the truck driver escaped from the spot leaving his vehicle behind, Sharma said.
 

In a separate incident, bodies of two youths identified as Parmindra and Nitesh were found today in an agricluture field in Ibrahimpura under Sarsawas police station, the ASP said.

Both the bodies had burn injuries and prima facie they were trying to steal electricity wires during which they got electrocuted, Sharma said.

All the four bodies have been sent for postmortem and investigations are underway in the cases, the ASP added.
