UP Cabinet donates 1-month salary for quake-hit Nepal

Extending a helping hand to quake-hit Nepal, members of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet today decided to donate their one month's salary to Chief Minister Relief Fund.

The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, an official spokesman said here.

The cabinet further decided to create two new tehsils in Shamli and Mianpuri districts.

It also approved promulgation of assistant accountant service rules.
