Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today suspended forest range officer of Mirzapur D N Singh with immediate effect and ordered a disciplinary action against him.
Mirzapur District Magistrate had recommended action against Singh following illegal mining and transportation in Mirzapur forest area, an official spokesman said.
Following recommendations of the DM of Mirzapur, Yadav took action against Singh, the spokesman said.
