The special CBI court here gave one hour to prosecution witness and police photographer-cum-forensic expert Chunni Lal Gautam to match the photographs but he could not tally the photographs and negatives.
During cross examination of Gautam on the photographs and the original finger print papers, the CBI also supplied the original finger print paper after special judge S Lal's June 25 order.
Defense counsel R P Thareja first cross examined Gautam and asked him from where he started taking the finger prints and the photographs. To this, he answered that he did not remember it now.
The next question asked by the defense was that if he could recognise the first finger print which was lifted by him. To this too, he replied in the negative.
The next question which was asked by the defense was how many officials were present when he took photographs and the finger prints.
Gautam replied that he did not remember about officials because he was busy taking prints and the photographs with the investigating officer.
