The House witnessed noisy scenes during the debate on admissibility of an adjournment motion moved by BJP alleging scam in fee compensation for students of engineering, BEd and other professional courses in the state.
BJP members alleged that the compensation was not reaching students pursuing professional courses and the scam ran into several crore rupees.
Dissatisfied with the reply by Leader of the House Ahmad Hasan on behalf of the government, BSP members stormed into the Well raising anti-government slogans after which Chairman Ganesh Shanker Pandey adjourned the House for 10 minutes which was further extended for another 10 minutes.
When the House reassembled, BSP members created similar scenes and the Chair adjourned it for the day.
