UP cueist Vinayak hits first maximum break

Uttar Pradesh veteran cueist Vinayak Agarwal notched the first maximum break (75 points) of 5th National 6 Reds Snooker Championship 2015 when he demolished Anshuman Arya here today.

Having lost his first match, Vinayak's aggression was quite obvious as he blanked his opponent with a score of 4-0 (33-01,42-06,75(75)-00,39-00).

Even though Anshuman lost but, he got the opportunity to see a beautifully crafted maximum in the 3rd frame up close.

Now Vinayak has opportunity to win cash award of Rs 50000 if he hits two more maximum breaks as was announced by the organisers.

In other matches today, the losing bracket matches been played throughout the day and the most interesting match was between West Bengal players, Shakil Ahmed and Rajesh Tulsian that reached the decider and eventually Shakil won the match 47-00,42-24,19-50,22-35,40-31,28-39,43-29.
