UP extends ex-gratia to kin of CRPF men killed in Naxal strike

Expressing heartfelt condolences towards the death of CRPF jawans in the Naxal strike in Chattishgarh yesterday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today extended an ex-gratia of Rs 20 lakh to each of the kin of the three deceased hailing from the state.

An official release issued here said that Chief Minister has extended the ex-gratia for Deputy Commandant B S Verma of Kanpur, head constable Kuldeep Punia of Hapur and constable Mukesh Kumar of Allahabad.

These CRPF men were killed in an ambush in Sukma district of Chattisgarh.
