The students of Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (SSV) have a great responsibility of spreading Sanskrit language worldwide and its future will depend on how they profess and look after its interest in the coming years, Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi said today.
Addressing the 31st Convocation of the university, Joshi, who is also its chancellor, said the students of SSV are the most fortunate ones as they got a chance to study here. "I myself regret that I didn't get a chance to study Sanskrit at such a prestigious university," he said.
"It is one of the best institution of Sanskrit learning in the country. The students of this varsity have a great responsibility of spreading this language worldwide," Joshi said, adding that "they are the future of Sanskrit and the name and fame of the language would mainly depend on how they profess and look after its interest in the coming years."
