The Uttar Pradesh government
Wednesday announced a "special 5 per cent discount" on the purchase of Khadi clothes in view of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi.
The decision in this regard was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
"Five per cent discount will be given on purchasing Khadi clothes on the 150th anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi
(on October 2)," cabinet minister Srikant Sharma told reporters here.
He said the discount will be applicable for 60 days from the date of issuance of the government order.
