Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today that his government is exploring ways to ease traffic pressure in the cities.
"The state government wants to ease the pressure of traffic on the roads and make movement of traffic smooth and comfortable," the chief minister said during a meeting here.
According to an official statement, he said that the state government is continuously working to explore alternatives in this regard.
Adityanath was informed about the 'personalised transit system' during the meeting and he asked the officials examine its acceptability as well as its feasibility, the statement said.
Personalised transit system is a innovative system that facilitates non stop transportation of a passenger to his destination, the statement added.
