Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
The Governor, in a message, said Eid-ul-Azha is a festival of sacrifice which inspires people to share happiness and help the needy and the poor.
"May the festival strive towards strengthening the social fabric and helping the lesser blessed people around us," Naik said.

Akhilesh, in his message, said the festival inspires people to maintain social harmony and brotherhood.
He appealed to the people to celebrate the festival with peace and mutual harmony.
Mulayam Singh Yadav also greeted the people on the occasion.
