UP Guv, CM greet people on eve of Independence Day

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today greeted the people of the state on the eve of 69th Independence Day.

In his message, Naik said that Uttar Pradesh played an important role in freedom movement and it also provided strong leadership to the country.

He said that turning freedom attained due to efforts of the freedom fighters in good governance has to be done unitedly and it would be real tribute to them.

Chief Minister Akhilesh in his message said that the national festival remind people of struggle and sacrifices made by martyrs and freedom fighters.
 

He appealed that while paying tribute to the freedom fighters, people should take a resolve to make a sincere effort for prosperity of the country.

In his message, SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav while extending his greetings said that there were a number of internal and external challenges before the country.

Mulayam said that people have to fight against them and make a strong, prosperous, socialist and secular India.
