Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi today met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and discussed various issues, including prevailing law and order and political situation, in the state.
During the 20 minute meeting, Joshi apprised the Home Minister of the political situation in UP, which sends 80 MPs to Lok Sabha, after the recent general elections.
Sources said the incident of gangrape and murder or two teenaged girls in Baduan also figured in the meeting between Singh and Joshi.
Singh is a former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and got elected to Lok Sabha from Lucknow constituency.
