UP Guv to sign bills after checking constitutional validity

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik today said he would sign the bills sent by the state government to him after checking their constitutional validity.

After proper screening and checking the constitutional validity, the bills will be signed, he said.

Asked by mediapersons about the bill to amend the Lokayukta Act sent by the state government, Naik said the state government had sent the amended bill to him.

After proper screening it will be passed, he said.

While addressing a gathering, he said that nowadays the medical facilities are becoming dearer because of scarcity of general practitioners.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and local MP and Minister of state for External Affairs Gen (retd) V K Singh also attended the function.
