One more person from Bhanwar village succumbed to viral fever at a district hospital here, taking the death toll to three, officials said today.
45-years-old Sarvesh died of viral fever at Ursula Hospital here, making it the third death due to the cause. However, the deceased was not detected of dengue, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) RP Singh Yadav said.
Asked about the other four deaths in the village due to viral fever, Singh said that the other four deaths were due to different ailments.

Yadav said that since yesterday no new case of dengue has been reported, while 15 others who had tested positive for dengue are still undergoing treatment.
The condition at Bhanwar village is improving and the 20-member team of doctors would remain posted in the village, the CMO said.
Altogether 15 patients from the village yesterday had tested positive for dengue sparking concern among health authorities in the district where hospitals have seen an influx of patients complaining of high fever in recent days.
As many as 550 patients, all residents of Bhanwar village of Ghatampur tehsil, with viral fever had been admitted to various medical centres, with most of them discharged later.
