Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan today said that a permanent scheme was being chalked out to stop water from rivers in Nepal causing havoc in the state.
After an aerial survey of Devipatan division, the Chief Secretary told reporters that a permanent scheme was being chalked out to stop water from rivers in Nepal from causing havoc in the state and the irrigation department has been asked to formulate an action plan.
He said that draft of the scheme would be sent to the centre.
