Uttar Pradesh roadways today announced its plan to provide low cost air-conditioned bus service 'Janrath' on rent for marriage parties.
The affordable service will give its 2x2 'Janrath Buses' on rent for marriages and other tourist purposes, said Ashok Kumar Shrotriya, additional regional manager of UPSRTC.
The booking of the three 40 seater AC 'Janrath Buses' will be done on 'first come first serve basis' at ARM office, Sahibabad and consumers will be charged Rs 20,000/per bus (excluding night charge), he said.
All the buses have been fitted with 2 x 2 push-back seats. Passenger can enjoy movies on LED screens with 4 channel music system, surf internet on Wi-fi during their travel. A GPS tracking system has been fitted to know the location of bus, he said.
On an average rupees 1.25 per kilometer/per passenger will be charged for 400 kilometers per day.
