Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has directed the concerned authorities to provide all possible assistance to 'boost your business' initiative launched by social media giant Facebook in five districts of the state.
The programme, which aims to help small and medium industries, would be operated in Kannauj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Allahabad and Lucknow between February 11 to March 11.
It would start from Kannauj and end in Lucknow.
Under the programme, small and medium entrepreneurs would be trained by the employees of the organisation to increase marketing of their products, services and customer base, an official spokesperson said, adding that the nationwide programme was being launched from Uttar Pradesh.
