The Uttar Pradesh transport minister and department officials will travel by state government-owned buses once a month to assess their condition and take corrective measures if any shortcomings were found.
"Many members are concerned about the condition of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses. We have made a plan for this. I and officials will travel by these buses once a month, talk to passengers and rectify shortcomings if there are any," UP Transport Minister Swatantra Dev Singh said in the legislative council while replying to a question.
