A woman was killed and five others were seriously injured when a car carrying them turned over after its tyre burst on the Delhi-Dehradun Nationbal Highway in the district, police said today.
The incident happened near Rampur Nagli village yesterday when the victims were on their way to Muzaffarnagar from Meerut.
The deceased woman has been identified as Reshma (45), while the injured -- Reshma (27), Uvesh (12), Saira (4), Shana (10) and Naimuddin (50) were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
