Upadhyay takes stock of cleanliness drive

In order to take stock of "ground reality" of 'Clean India' campaign in north district, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay today made a surprise visit of different areas to inspect cleanliness arrangements.

Upadhyay, who conducted his visit in areas of North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), inspected cleanliness arrangements in Anand Parbat, Karol Bagh, Kamla Nagar, Model Town, Mukherjee Nagar and Azadpur areas.

"During his visit, Upadhyay also administered oath to the people assembled in a program organized by Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar Federation and felicitated the workers of transport sector on the occasion of Vishwakarma Pooja," Delhi BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana said.
 

Khurana said that the Delhi BJP chief also assured transporters that he would take up their problems, connected with the police, with police commssioner.
