BJP will hold its first meeting of the Parliamentary Board here a day after the Lok Sabha election results are out tomorrow as a celebratory mood gripped the party headquarters here ahead of counting of votes.
Narendra Modi, who will be flying to the national capital on the morning of May 17, will travel to Varanasi, where he is contesting, after attending the meeting of the party's highest decision-making body and will hold a thanks-giving for the people of the holy town in the form of a major roadshow.
He is likely to attend the Ganga pooja on the banks of river Ganga, whom he invoked before contesting from Varanasi.

Meanwhile, amid an upbeat mood in the party ahead of the counting tomorrow, BJP has made elaborate arrangements at its headquarters here to celebrate its possible victory in the elections.
While over a thousand kilos of laddoos have been ordered for distribution along with flowers and crackers, the party has also made arrangements of an air-conditioned tent and food for the media and its workers.
While Modi himself will be in Ahmedabad tomorrow during counting, senior party leaders Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah will be at the party headquarters tomorrow. Rajnath is likely to hold a press conference tomorrow at the party office after poll results.
Sources said the party has deliberately kept the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting on May 17, a day after counting, to enable most senior leaders to reach Delhi as they will be in their respective constituencies.
