Irked over alleged forcing of a Muslim to break his Ramzan fast by some Shiv Sena MPs at Maharashtra Sadan in Delhi, a radical outfit in Uttar Pradesh today asked the Sena activists to offer apologies.
Uttar Pradesh Nav Nirman Sena (UPNNS) chief Amit Jani said the matter about forcing a Muslim to break his fast was very serious and the Sena activists should offer apologies for the incident.
Jani further threatened that if his outfit's demand not met within 72 hours, the activists of UPNNS "will evict the Shiv Sainiks forcibly from Uttar Pradesh".
Some Shiv Sena MPs, who were apparently angry over not being served Maharashtrian food at Maharashtra Sadan, had allegedly forced a Muslim catering supervisor on fast to eat a 'chapati' last week.
Earlier, the outfit had beheaded Mayawati's statues in Lucknow and had attacked Shiv Sena office in Meerut for alleged atrocities against north Indians in Maharashtra.
