UPSC declares IFoS results

Eighty-five candidates have been selected for Indian Forest Service, results of which were declared today by Union Public Service Commission.

The Commission will put up marks of successful candidates on its website within a fortnight.

The written examination for selection in IFoS was held in October, last year and Personality Test was conducted in December.

Of the 85 candidates, 29 are from Other Backward Classes, 13 from Scheduled Castes and six from Scheduled Tribes, a release issued today by Ministry of Personnel said.

The break-up of the vacancies intimated by the government was: 43 for general category, 23 OBC, 13 SC and six ST.
 

UPSC has a 'Facilitation Counter' near Examination Hall in its campus. Candidates can obtain any information or clarification on the working days between 10 AM to 5 PM in person or over telephone nos (011) 23385271, 23381125 and 23098543.

"The result will also be available on the UPSC website, -- http://www.Upsc.Gov.In. Marks of candidates are likely to be uploaded on this website within the next 15 days," it said.
