Prices of urad dal and gram dal fell while prices of all other commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal was down by Rs.400 per quintal to Rs.14,500 from its yesterday's closing rate of Rs.14,900.
Gram dal decreased by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.6,000 from Rs.6,200.
Thoor dal (Rs.14,500), moong dal (Rs.10,000), sugar (Rs.3,400), wheat (Rs.3,000), Maida (90 kgs) (Rs.2,500) and sooji (90 kgs) Rs.3,200 prices ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 14,500, Urad Dal Rs 14,500, Moong Dal Rs 10,000, Gram Dal Rs 6,000, Sugar Rs 3,400, Wheat Rs 3,000 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
