Urad dal prices declined at the wholesale foodgrains market here today while those of other commodities ruled steady.
Urad dal went down by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,200 from its previous rate of Rs 8,400.
Foodgrains market remained closed on 2nd and 3rd October on account of "Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi" and "Ayudha Pooja".
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,900, Urad Dal Rs 8,200 Moong Dal Rs 9,500, Gram Dal Rs 3,900, Sugar Rs 3,150, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,700.
