Urad and its dal prices drifted by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following slackened demand coupled with adequate stocks positions.
However, other pulses after moving in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled at previous levels.
Traders said tepid demand from retailers against sufficient stocks on higher supplies from producing belts mainly led to decline in urad and its dal prices.

On the other hand, arhar dal dara (superior) variety edged up to Rs 13,000-15,000 from previous level of Rs 13,000-14,500 per quintal.
