Prices of urad dal, moong dal and sugar moved down while thoor dal moved up in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Rest of the commodities ruled steady.
Moong dal declined by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 9,300 from its previous rate of Rs 9,500.
In addition, urad dal went down by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,900 from Rs 9,000.
Likewise, sugar declined to Rs 3,200 from Rs 3,250.
In contrast, thoor dal rose by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,000 from its previous rate of Rs 7,800.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri- commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,000, Urad Dal Rs 8,900 Moong Dal Rs 9,300, Gram Dal Rs 3,950, Sugar Rs 3,200, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,450 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,650.
