Prices of urad and moong fell up to Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market on adequate stocks position due to higher supplies from producing belts amid slackened demand from retailers.
Marketmen said adequate stocks in the market following pickup in supplies from producing regions against lower demand from retailers, mainly kept pressure on urad and moong prices.
Besides, government's steps to check prices of pulses also supported the downtrend, they said.
