Prices of urad dal, moong dal, gram dal and maida moved down while sooji moved up and all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Urad dal declined by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 8,400 from its previous rate of Rs 8,800.
Both moong dal and gram dal went down by Rs 200 and Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 9,300 and Rs 3,900 from Rs 9,500 and Rs 4,000.
Likewise, maida (90 kg) edged down by Rs 50 to Rs 2,400 from Rs 2,450.
In contrast, sooji (90 kg) rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2,650 from its previous rate of Rs 2,600.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,200, Urad Dal Rs 8,400 Moong Dal Rs 9,300, Gram Dal Rs 3,900, Sugar Rs 3,200, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,650.
