The wholesale pulses market depicted a mixed trend today as prices of urad and moong recovered notably by up to Rs 400 per quintal on emergence of buying by stockists following uptick in demand from retailers, while a few others remained lower on improved supplies.

Traders said stockists buying on the back of pick up in demand from retailers helped urad and moong prices to rise.

However, adequate stocks position amid government measures to check rising prices, kept pressure on other pulses, traders said.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local found fresh buying support and recovered by Rs 400 each to Rs 9,300-10,700 and Rs 9,500-9,600 per quintal, respectively.
