A US-based startup has raised a whopping USD 108 million in funding to developed a new generation of plant-based cheeseburgers.
The four-year-old company, Impossible Foods, based in Redwood City, California, specialises in plant-based meats and cheeses.
The company currently manufactures nut milk products like almond milk sliced cheese, ricotta cheese, ravioli and cream cheese, 'TechCrunch' reported.

The company has developed numerous nut milk products that it says are healthier and more sustainable than their dairy counterparts.
Brown is aiming to make foods that are not only tasty but which have no cholesterol, hormones, or antibiotics with its flagship product being a plant-based cheeseburger.
