A high-level US trade delegation today met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who briefed the visitors about investment avenues here and industrial policy of the newly-created State.
The delegation was led by Arun M Kumar, Director General of the US and Foreign Commercial Service and Assistant Secretary for Global Markets, Department of Commerce.
During the meeting, Rao said Government of Telangana would shortly come up with a "Zero Corruption Industrial Policy" and will propagate the same all over the world, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Office.

The Chief Minister said about three lakh acres of land for industrial use would be made available to prospective industrialists in Telangana and excellent infrastructure would be created on these lands, the release said.
Rao said Telangana would be promoted as the best state for investment in India and a "chasing cell" would be created in his office for expediting clearances to the proposals of industrialists and approving them within two weeks.
The visiting dignitaries discussed possibility of organising an Indo-American trade summit some time later this year, it said.
The CM requested the delegation to include Hyderabad in the schedule of US President Barack Obama as and when he visits India. The US team evinced keen interest in cooperation in aviation and defence areas, the release added.
