A three-member delegation from the United States, which has come here to find buyers for American raw and semi-finished leather, visited three tanneries today.
The delegation of 'United States Hide, Skin and Leather Association' led by its president Stephen Sothmann arrived in Kanpur yesterday to find buyers for American raw and semi- finished leather, Regional Director of Council for Leather Export O P Pandey said today.
The delegation will visit altogether 12 tanneries and offer their owners special packages to buy American raw and semi-finished leather, Pandey said.
Pandey said the American delegation described Kanpur as an established market for leather and said business collaborations between them will give a boost to the industrial cooperation between the two countries.
