The US Council on Competitiveness has signed an MoU with its newly formed Indian counterpart to establish a foundation and framework for bilateral engagement and dialogue to strengthen the US-India economic relationship.
The Memorandum of Understanding recognises the importance of developing effective global competitiveness policies and strategies, while establishing a strategic partnership to mobilise a critical mass of leaders and experts to promote sustainable economic growth and prosperity for both countries, a statement said.
"The foundation for this MoU is straightforward," President & CEO, Council on Competitiveness, Deborah Wince-Smith, said.

"I could not be more pleased about the coming together of our two organisations around these issues," Wince-Smith said.
The Council (US) is credited with building new-to-the- world business partnerships over the years, having lead dozens of CEO-level dialogues and innovation summits with global partners across Europe, Northern Asia and Latin America.
