The trade defict between the United States and India stood at USD 2 billion in March, according to figures release today.
The US Census Bureau and the US Bureau of Economic Analysis, through the Department of Commerce, announced that the goods and services deficit was USD 51.4 billion in March, up USD 15.5 billion from February.
March exports stood at USD 187.8 billion, USD 1.6 billion more than the February exports. Imports in that month were USD 239.2 billion.

In the same month the United States' trade deficit with China increased USD 10.5 billion to USD 37.8 billion, the data showed.
Exports increased USD 0.4 billion to USD 9.3 billion and imports increased USD 10.9 billion to USD 47.1 billion.
The deficit with Japan increased USD2.0 billion to USD6.3 billion in March.
